Powder Coating System

Customer tasked SAI to provide an automatic powder coating system to replace their existing sand blast and wet spray system. We designed a powder coating system to meet the customers' requirements then supplied, mechanically and electrically installed, and integrated the equipment to include an overhead conveyor system, a 3-stage iron phosphate spray washer, 350oF dry-off oven and 375° F cure oven, environmental room and powder booth. The system also included an automated load and unload system for their product weighing up to 500 lb.

We designed a powder coating system to meet the customers' requirements then supplied, mechanically and electrically installed, and integrated the equipment to include an overhead conveyor system, a new grit blast system, 350° F degas oven and 375° F cure oven, environmental room and powder booth. The system also included a load and unload area serviced by overhead gantry equipment to handle the 400 lb product.
