Oil Packaging Case Study

Ocme Filler Upgrade

To meet increased demand for product required a high speed filler/capper to compliment our customer's quart packaging system. Our solution was an upgrade of surplus filler with an obsolete control system. SAI provided a state of the art PLC system and converted the drive system form DC to AC with a VFD. Specialized sensors were added to monitor oil temperature and level for input to PLC program. All seals, gaskets and worn or damaged parts were replaced; valves rebuilt and machine thoroughly cleaned and painted.

Case Palletizer

Our customer required a more efficient and reliable machine to keep up with the increased output of his packaging line. We upgraded their palletizer to include a new PLC system, electronic sensors and switches and added improvements to increase the machine efficiency. A hydraulic accumulator and new flow control valves were installed to allow for hydraulic pressure increases which resulted in higher speeds. All seals, gaskets and worn or damaged parts were replaced; valves rebuilt and machine thoroughly cleaned and painted.
